Day 8 and having lots of problems with joint pain
Looking for advice on some joint pain I am having, which has gotten much worse since starting this cycle. It is starting to interfere with my workouts. Currently taking tren 3x/day, with 300mg of Vitex each time, for 900mg Vitex/day. Also taking Formestane topical and LV 2x/day, 750mg Nettle Root, and Chrysin daily for AI. My pain in my ankles has been getting worse, and having pain in right elbow, both wrists, which just started. Still having some pain in left elbow, but that is normal because it is wonky and has been injured several times. Looking for any advice here. I am also taking Cissus for joint pain, plus glucosamine. |

It's Glucosamine + Chondroitin + MSM + Hyaluronic Acid + Univestin + Vitamin D. Normally I don't like so much stuff in a single product, but as I said above, this one worked for me.

I had some joint pain while on the Tren LV. I started using a product called Flex-A-Min and it has helped me. The bottle says it can take weeks to notice results, but I felt improvement after 3-4 days.

I will give it a try.

A cardio-intensive day. I was feeling a bit more aggressive, so I upped the 10K run on the Octane to level 6, and completed it in 42:51... and was completely drenched in sweat. Peak heart rate hit 178 bpm, which technically slightly exceeds my calculated HRmax. I can't wait to tell my cardiologist at my next appointment to see what his reaction is.
Followed up with some Abs/Core work with a stability ball.
- Crunches: [supine 25, right side 25, left side 25] x 5
- Squats with 25 lb weight in each hand: 20 x 5
- Plank holds: 60 seconds x 5
- Balance Pushups: 20 x 5
- Bridge Hamstring Curl: 20 x 5
- Knee Tuck: 20 x 5
I also received my Free-T lab results back today, and it was > 50 pg/dL, which is off the scale. Normal range for this assay is 9.3 - 26.5 pg/dL for guys in their 20s; it's slightly lower for guys in Keith's and my age stratum. I called the reference lab which ran the test and asked them if the result was correct, and they told me that they actually repeated the test to make certain that there wasn't an error. They also told me that the true value could be 51 or it could be 250; it's beyond the measurement range of their assay.

Due to my ankles being still sore, I substituted stationary bike work for my normal jog at the end of this workout.
Also, I had Polycemia type headaches today, even though my hematocrit levels were too low for that when I had my blood tested before the cycle started. I will monitor this going forward.
On the plus side, I felt very strong throughout the workout.
Squats 4 sets of 34 with 410# (bowflex)
Calf Raises 4 sets of 410# (bowflex) (32,28,28,28) (increased 4 reps 1st set)
Deadlift 3 sets of 29 with 410# (bowflex) Increased 1 rep each set)
pullups (superset with hanging leg raises) 4 sets (16, 16, 17, 17) (increased 2 reps total)
Hanging Leg Raises (superset with pullups) 4 sets of 20
Seated Ab Crunch 4 sets of 33 with 350# (bowflex) (added 4th set, and did extra rep each set)
Superset wrist curls/wrist extensions 25’ dumbbells 3 supersets of 20
Finished up with 28 minutes on exercise bike

Letrozole 2.5 mg tabs x 5, pulverized and blended with one 250 mL bottle of SA LV, final concentration is 0.05 mg of letrozole per mL. Also added some blue food coloring and several drops of peppermint extract so that the preparation can easily be distinguished from regular SA LV. It's now a lovely shade of lavender... tastes pretty good too.

Check your blood pressure.
I know there has got to be a grocery store or pharmacy that has free BP testing machine near you. The third week on Tren shot my BP up. |
1st reading was 143/75
2nd was 132/68
3rd was 128/65
So, results all over the place, which is odd.
The machine said that it might give inconsistent results for people with arms with a circumference of 13.5", which, in essence eliminates all adult males not wearing painted nail polish.
So, hope to see better results when the BP machine I ordered comes in tomorrow.
In the meantime, I am taking 4000mg/day of Hawthorn Berry.
BTW, I called my wife and asked her again if she borrowed a BP machine from work (had also asked her yesterday).
Her response was silence, then "Just shoot me".
Luckily, my pre-frontal cortex is developed enough that I was able to remain rational regarding her suggestion.

Tilikum, the male killer whale that fatally injured trainer Dawn Brancheau in front of a stunned audience at SeaWorld in Orlando on Wednesday, was a breeding "stud" often housed in isolation. Experts believe he did not kill for food, but may have been acting out due to stress and raging hormones. While some reports have been portraying Tilikum as a particularly aggressive orca, a nearly identical incident involving another killer whale male named Ky occurred in July 2004 at the San Antonio SeaWorld. Trainer Steve Aibel, like Brancheau, was pulled underwater by the whale, which also attempted to bite, but Aibel walked away uninjured. He later blamed Ky's "adolescent hormones" for the episode. Marine biologist Nancy Blake told Discovery News that Tilikum could have acted out for similar reasons. "He was used a lot [by SeaWorld] for mating, and could have even been enacting a mating behavior during the incident," explained Blake, a leading expert on killer whales who runs California's Monterey Bay Whale Watch.

Followed up with some Abs/Core work with a stability ball.

I definitely felt the effects of the letro yesterday evening, because I essentially was getting what could be described as hot flashes. I'm hoping that with a very low dose, I can prevent an overabundance of E production (especially considering what my T levels are), but still have enough E available to prevent joint pain and dryness. Total E suppression is not a good thing for many different organ systems, including cardiovascular health.
