What are Green Tea capsules?
Our Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis L.) capsules contain the purest and cleanest green tea in the world. Each batch is guaranteed to be 100% pesticide and contaminate free.* At the average dose of two capsules per day, Green Tea will last 45 days.
At two capsules per day, Green Tea provides a clinically effective fat loss dose of polyphenols and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG).
* Each batch is analyzed and confirmed to be free of over 300 potentially hazardous pesticides and semi-volatile contaminates. Our Green Tea capsules are guaranteed to exceed all FDA guidelines on permitted "agricultural residues" for tea ingredients.
What is so special about our Green Tea?
Our green tea is clean, unlike most other products on the market.
Most green tea extracts sold in the US are imported from China, and virtually all of these imports are grown on tea plantations which don’t follow federal regulations for pesticide control. The fact is, if there is a green tea product and it doesn’t clearly state that it is “pesticide free” or “organic” you can be sure it is ridden with pesticides.
This was confirmed by the chemical analysis of generic green tea extracts originating from China. We found a number of green tea extracts contaminated with poisonous pesticides such as dicofol and endosulfan which are known to have endocrine disruptive effects, among other deleterious effects. (1) (as seen in this analysis)

Only a small percentage of imported tea extracts are randomly tested by the FDA, leaving thousands of tons of tainted green tea slipping through the cracks and ending up in your dietary supplements.
And it gets worse.
When we searched for “pesticide free” Chinese green tea we found these extracts where contaminated with other hazardous and potentially cancerous hydrocarbons such as benzopyrene and chloroform – caused by pollution from nearby industrial factories that contaminated the nearby soil and tea plantations.
So, we decided to look elsewhere.
In the search for a pure and unadultered green tea extract, we found Nutriscience InnovaTea™ -- an organic compliant and 100% pesticide free green tea extract, analyzed to be 100% free of contamination. Each batch can be traced right back to the unindustrialized plantation in India.
With our Green Tea you may pay about two dollars more per bottle compared to the average bargain bin green tea – but we figured it was worth two bucks to avoid the poisonous pesticides.
What benefits does Green Tea have?
- Increases energy expenditure, metabolism and fat burning (2-5)
- Promotes clean and focused energy (15-18)
- Enhances immune system and liver function (6,7)
- Anti-carcinogenic and anti-inflammatory properties (8,10,13,14)
How does Green Tea burn fat?
The primary active constituents in Green Tea are the catechins and polyphenols.
The effects of green tea were examined in a 12 week study with 200 men and women. The researchers compared a low-catechin drink to a high-catechin drink and measured changes in body fat and waist circumference. The high-catechin group lost twice as much body fat, and had a more significant reduction in waist circumference. (2) The dramatic fat reduction was accredited to the EGCG content, which increases fat loss by ramping up energy expenditure and beta-oxidation in the liver. (2-5) Two capsules of Green Tea include a similar dose of catechins used in the high-catechin group. (480mg)
Catechins, such as EGCG, have been proven to significantly reduce waist circumference and fat mass in other human studies as well. (3,4)
How does Green Tea enhance alertness and focus?
Green Tea possesses a natural balance of alkaloids and amino acids that lend to the neurological benefits. The natural alkaloids most notable for their alertness and energy enhancing properties are caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine. However, these stimulants are precisely counter balanced by the amino acid L-theanine - which calms the nerves, stimulates alpha brain waves, and modulates the release of dopamine and serotonin. (15-18)
The end result is clean energy, enhanced mental concentration and a superior mind-to-body connection.
How does a Green Tea capsule compare to a cup of tea?
One capsule of green tea provides 144mg of EGCG, which is equivalent to about two cups of brewed green tea.*
* This info represents loose leaf brewed tea, and does not include decaffeinated, instant or bottled tea beverages which have a majority of the bitter tasting catechin & polyphenol content removed.
Are there any side-effects?
Green Tea is 100% safe at 2-3 capsules per day for men and women, even for those sensitive to caffeine since each does contains a very low dose. (about 10x lower than a cup of coffee) Green Tea should be considered a health promoting product. For instance, research has shown green tea to reduce LDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar while also preserving healthy vision. (2,11-13)
As a dietary supplement take 1 capsule, two to three times daily. Take with meals.
