What is Tea-3?

Tea-3 is an all natural blend of teas that will reduce body fat, control appetite, and enhance mental concentration. At the average dose, Tea-3 will last 30 days.

By using only natural teas - yerba mate, green, and oolong tea - we have created a balanced fat loss formula free of the typical side effects associated with most fat burners, such as jitters, insomnia and rapid heartbeat. Primordial Performance accomplished this by creating Tea-3 without synthetic stimulants or filler ingredients. Instead, we took the most powerful lipolytic compounds straight from Mother Nature to bring you a safe and effective fat incinerator.

Through isolation of the scientifically proven compounds, and standardization of a potent extract, we created a prodigious fat loss product that goes beyond the competition to deliver real results. Tea-3 is jam-packed with a high concentration of natural catechins & polyphenols, at a precise ratio, to push fat loss to the next level.

How exactly does Tea-3 burn fat?

The primary active constituents in Tea-3 are the catechins and polyphenols. These are naturally occurring antioxidants found in yerba mate, green, and oolong tea.

Yerba Mate

In one human study, the subjects consuming yerba mate capsules had a significant 10lb drop in only 45 days, compared the placebo group which did not lose any weight. (1) The researchers hypothesized that yerba mate encouraged weight loss by slowing gastric emptying, thus increasing the feeling of fullness. The fat loss effects could be attributed to the balanced alkaloid content (caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine), which encourages "fat release" from fat cells. (9,14)

Green Tea

The effects of green tea were examined in a 12 week study, with 200 men and women. The researchers compared a low-catechin drink, to a high-catechin drink and measured changes in body fat & waist circumference. The high-catechin group lost twice as much body fat, and had a more significant reduction in waist circumference. (2) The dramatic reduction in fat loss was accredited to the EGCG content, which increases fat loss by ramping up energy expenditure and beta-oxidation in the liver. (2-5) Each serving of Tea-3 includes the same level of catechins used in the high-catechin group. (460mg)

Catechins, such as EGCG, have been proven to significantly reduce waist circumference and fat mass in other human studies as well. (3,4)

Oolong Tea

In a study examining the effects of oolong tea, the researchers compared the effects of caffeine alone, to caffeine with oolong catechins. The men consuming the caffeine & catechin combo burned 2x as much fat as the caffeine only group. (6) Polymerized polyphenols where confirmed to be the main component responsible for the fat loss effects. (7). Research has shown polymerized polyphenols to be 167% more powerful than EGCG, however Tea-3 contains a high dose of both compounds for a synergistic effect. Each serving of Tea-3 includes 120mg of polymerized polyphenols - the same dose that has been scientifically proven to raise energy expenditure 10-20% in human studies. (120mg)

How does Tea-3 enhance alertness and focus?

Tea-3 possesses a natural balance of alkaloids, minerals and amino acids that lend to the neurological benefits. The compounds most notable for their alertness & energy enhancing properties are the natural alkaloids caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine. However, these stimulants are precisely counter balanced by L-theanine, magnesium, calcium, and potassium - which calm the nerves, stimulate alpha brain waves, and modulate the release of dopamine and serotonin. (15-18)

The end result is clean energy, enhanced mental concentration and a superior mind-to-body connection.

How does a serving of Tea-3 compare to a cup of tea?

In order to get the same EGCG and polymerized polyphenol content as a serving of Tea-3 (2 caps), you would have to drink 3 cups of green, 2 cups of oolong, and 1 cup of yerba mate.*

* This info represents the consumption of home brewed tea, and does not include decaffeinated, instant or bottled tea beverages which have a majority of the catechin & polyphenol content removed.

What are the side effects?

The only side effects that have been reported with Tea-3 is nausea if taken on an empty stomach, therefore we recommend taking Tea-3 with food. Otherwise, Tea-3 should be considered a health promoting product. For instance, research has shown tea to reduce LDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar while also preserving healthy vision. (2,11-13) Tea-3 also contains naturally occurring amino acids and trace minerals, which help stabilize the nerves and reduce anxiety. (10)Â
