AI/ATD following epi clones... why not?

Eric, would you please elaborate on your statement above (left in response to a Havoc pct question)? I understand that epi does not aromatise & thus elevated estrogen levels would not be a huge factor post-cycle.

I have read a couple of articles on this topic before but I cannot seem to locate them. The common "broscience" often suggests AI/ATD usage & I am trying to offer an alternative viewpoint.

Thanks for your time!

One of the ideas is that when you suppress estrogen and aromatase with steroidal AIs you create a condition where your body increases its production upon cessation of the AI in order to retain homeostasis. So you end up with elevated estrogen levels.

My idea is that these ingredients are either directly suppressive to the HPTA [formestane], anti-androgens that have a wash effect [6-oxo], or too powerful of AI’s that can simply suppress estrogen too much [formestane, ATD].

You basically want to eliminate all exogenous hormone supplementation to remove the brakes on the HPTA, so you can start stimulating natural T production again.

It will eventually inhibit estrogen to the point where it will be hurting libido, fluid retention [causing joint pain], and cholesterol values [high LDL, low HDL] which will lead to atherosclerosis of the arteries – and that can contribute to ED and a heart attack.

Plus, formestane is an androgen that can have directly suppressive effects on the HPTA.

It certainly has its role for controlling estrogen, but its risks should be considered.

Indeedy, I'll be keeping it away from PCT.
